Core drilling is used when a job calls for the drilling of circular holes in reinforced concrete, pre-cast concrete, brick, block, and other structural material. 

Applications include  holes for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, heating, under ground utilities, hand rails and fire sprinkler installations. Other applications include holes for anchor bolts or lifting rods, to place explosive charges, to install load carrying devices like dowel bars, or for analysis of the structure or soil below.
